From plains to great hills the vines of Vignerons de BEL AIR are spread over 13 appellations among which are 10 crus. We can easily say that the BEL AIR men work on a large terroirs sample.
Indeed even the climate is generally continental we can observe a couple of microclimatic variations. Moreover the soils are not the same : while those of Chiroubles are quite sandy those of Cote de Brouilly are composed by “blue stones”.
Except for the Chardonnay used for Beaujolais blanc, the unique grape variety planted by the Vignerons de BEL AIR is Gamay.
