The estate of Cote de Brouilly is got caught on the hillsides of the Mont Brouilly which has a special asset: the blue rock of Brouilly.
This blue rock called Diorite is present in others crus but particularly at Brouilly. It’s a very hard volcano rock also called “Corne verte” (green horns).
The appellation is spread on 335 hectares and is shaped by 50 wine makers in the communes of Saint Lager, Odenas, Quincié and Cércié.
