Juliénas the bold

The point of departure of the vines growing in the Beaujolais. The estate of Juliénas is in the always more slope hills which reach 470m of altitude.
Expanded on the communes of Juliénas, Pruzilly, Emeringes and Jullié, this is one of the most northern crus and goes along the “Mauvaise” a little segment of the river Saône.
The granitic and sedimentary rocks which composed the soil are very adapted to the Gamay and generate a robust wine with character thanks to the work of the 120 wine makers of the appellation.
