Morgon the inevitable

With his 1100 hectares in Morgon and Villié-Morgon overlooked by the Py (name of the hill), Morgon is the most vast appellation after Brouilly. It’s in the middle of the crus like a pillar.
Six climates are linked to this cru:

  • Grand Cras,
  • Les Charmes
  • Corcelettes
  • Micouds
  • Douby
  • And the most known the Côte du Py at the south

The terroir is deeply highlighted by this prestigious appellation. The soil is very specific is composed by schists and aged volcano rocks confer on the wine its powerfulness.
