That is already fiftheen years we quited the benches of the school and we are now, one more time, with friends to picnic in the vines. In this autumn beginning sweaters and memories are reappearing.
Vineyard
Grape: Gamay.
Soil: granite and hard schist
Exposure: slopes south, south-east of the Mont Brouilly
Age: 51 years old
Wine-making: Harvested by hand with selective picking. Semi-carbonic fermentation for 6 to 9 days.
Wine taste
Colour: garnet red.
Smell: blackcurrant and elegant hints of violets
Mouth: Smoothly tannin, good length and roundness.
Best to be served at: 15-17°C with beef, Mediterranean food and cheese.
