Saint Amour the passionate
The most northern cru! The geographical delimitation even wants that Saint Amour doesn’t belong to the Rhone Alpes region but at the Burgundy one! But it still rests one of the legendary crus of Beaujolais.
With its 310 hectares of its 60 years old vines, it is one of the smallest appellations of the region.
Small by the surface but not by its diversity because Saint Amour has got 12 climates like:
La Côte de Besset
Le Clos de la Brosse
Le Clos des Grillons
Le Mas des Times
Surface area: 310 hectares
Date of creation: 8th February 1946
